He is a pulpit Rabbi, and for 25 years served as Professor of Philosophy at Humber College in Toronto and taught Medical Ethics at the School of Medicine of the University of Toronto. Rabbi Schochet is known for his incisive and frank analysis and comments on any religious and social matters, with profound and comprehensive erudition.
